You’re Invited! August 2010 Cake Ride / Birthday Bash
Calling out to all cyclists… We’re celebrating your Birthday!!
Is your birthday in August? Or perhaps you just love to eat cake? Come celebrate any cyclists whose birthdays are in August with BikingLasVegas.com! There will be cake, coffee and a fun ride around Summerlin and into Red Rock.
YOU MUST RSVP for the ride so I know how much cake to get. Please RSVP by commenting below and make sure you tell me which Ride Option you are choosing (20 or 40 miler).

Recreational Ride Classification (GREAT FOR BEGINNERS!)

COST: FREE
HELMETS ARE MANDATORY. Please bring your own supplies in case of a flat tire & your own water bottles for the ride. After the ride, the cake and coffee is free! 
NOTE: This is not a sanctioned event. Ride at your own risk. You will be asked to sign a waiver prior to the start. Cycling is dangerous, please be aware of the group and ride safely or you will be asked to leave.

Remember…I need you to RSVP for the ride (and also let me know if it’s your birthday month by giving me your birthday with your RSVP). Please post a comment on the blog below if you plan on coming!

I love Vegas… do you think that the 6 am start time will be at or below 90 degrees? You may want to start at 5! I went on an hour long ride yesterday at about 95 degrees… and the reflective heat coming up off the pavement about did me in. Old dudes and heat just don’t mix! Have a great party!

I’m SO there! It’s my birthday month AND my 1 year anniversary riding with you guys! I nearly freaked out when I did the 17 miler, THEN Lisa and Lynetta kept me company for when I did my 30 miler later that week! Awesome…
OH yeah…I’m doing the 40 miler! :-Þ About time too…lol!

My daughter Ali and I plan to be there. We will be there a little before 6:00 for the 40 miler. She’s hoping to ride the MS 150 with us. If she does, it will be her first century. We will ride the cake ride at her pace, so don’t let that slow the group down. We’ll be fine.

I have been busy for the past few weekends going to Orange County & back. Miss riding with the club i will do the 40 mile i might do an extra mile to make it 41 since i will be turning 41 on August 8th LOL!!!!!!!
