Las Vegas Bicycling Community Website

Last Thursday a class of 25 BikingLasVegas.com members learned some important bicycle maintenance skills.  Danny Kam of Nu Vision Cyclery sponsored our maintenance class and shared his tips and techniques, providing us with invaluable information that can only come from an experienced racer, cyclist and bike mechanic.  From changing a flat tire, to using a dollar bill as a liner if you get a tear in your tire, to learning how to replace a link in a broken chain, Danny has a way of simplifying things so we can all easily understand.  Thank you Danny for taking the time to sponsor our community and for sharing your expertise with us.

Las Vegas Firefighters Benefit Association Adopt-A-Bike Bike Repair Party!!!

Where: Station 42 (Cheyenne and Tenaya)
When: Thursday December 17th
Time: 9 am - ???

Who: Anyone who can repair tires, adjust, grease, or even wash used bicycles.
Firefighters, Bike clubs, or anyone who wants to help.

Why: There are many families with kids this year in need of assistance and cheer.
We have been donated close to 200 bikes from Metro and need them fixed by December 18th!
We really need your help!! Thank you all in advance!
