Last Thursday a class of 25 BikingLasVegas.com members learned some important bicycle maintenance skills.  Danny Kam of Nu Vision Cyclery sponsored our maintenance class and shared his tips and techniques, providing us with invaluable information that can only come from an experienced racer, cyclist and bike mechanic.  From changing a flat tire, to using a dollar bill as a liner if you get a tear in your tire, to learning how to replace a link in a broken chain, Danny has a way of simplifying things so we can all easily understand.  Thank you Danny for taking the time to sponsor our community and for sharing your expertise with us.

Thank you to Terry Pittman of the Bike Shop in Henderson, for hosting our last Meet & Greet on December 2nd, 2009.  Terry helped all of us to learn how to adjust our deraileurs and how to change a flat tire.  There will be 25 less people calling their friends and family to come pick them up when they get a flat!
