My 2010 Goals are:

1. Participate in 6 century rides throughout the year (in 2009, I did 3) which will include:
Tour de Cure, Tour de Fire, RTC Viva Bike Vegas, Bike MS and 2 other organized or non-organized century rides here or out of state depending on the $$ and time. ;)

2. Run the Las Vegas Rock n Roll Half Marathon

3. Enjoy 1 easy, non-competitive group ride per month where I don't have to go fast or long to have a good time. It's harder than it sounds to actually slow yourself down to just enjoy a ride and not watch the avg mph.

4. Meet new friends who enjoy cycling and other fitness activities! :D

5. Add some new features to the BLV website for all of you to enjoy. :)

6. Not go crazy in the process. lol.

1. Do at least 3 organized century rides. (Tour De St. George, Viva Las Vegas, Death Valley Century, MS150)
2. Work at least 2 races. (Death Valley Century, Tour de Fire?)
3. Place well in the Las Vegas Corporate Challenge
4. Ride the scenic loop (for some reason I still haven't done it!)
5. Mountain bike more.
6. Attend more group rides!
7. Ride my geared bike more often!

Goals for the year

1. Ride first century (tour de st. george)
2. Try for one out of town ride a month (mostly in North County San Diego, love it there)
3. 2 group rides a month as it warms up and rides start earlier in the day
4. Get myself in shape by summer to start training for running again
a. 5 K in the summer
b. 10kin early fall
c. 1/2 marathon in december (under 2 hours, I used to do it under 1:30)
5. Tour de Fire - 62 miler

Hopefully I will add to this list for later in the year, who knows what my schedule will be like. You never know I might decide to leave the desert for greener pastures with my brother

Since folks are including running to their goals, here are mine in no particular order. They are again rather ambitious.

0. Phoenix Rock n Roll Marathon.
1. Run the Red Rock loop several times, not in one day though.
2. Run 2 loops of the Bristlecone Trail.
3. Run up Lee Canyon.
4. Run an ultra-marathon. Ok, run the Red Rock loop twice in one day, or River Mountain Trail.
5. Compete in the Red Rock Relay.
6. Compete in the Ragnar Relay. Our team came in 2nd (corporate division) in 2009.
7. Run up to Charleston Peak.
8. Run LV half Marathon. This will be easier than anything above, doing it for moral support of friends running it.

Somehow manage to do other stuff besides running and cycling (ie, hiking, backpacking, kayaking, mtn biking, rock climbing, ...).

1. Show up for at least 4 rides on time. Okay, 3. No, I mean 2. Yeah, 2.
2. Ride the Red Rock Loop at least once without getting my tongue caught in my spokes.
3. Learn to shave my legs without drawing blood.
3 (a). Sweet talk some cutie into shaving my legs for me.
4. Remember which glove is for wiping sweat and which one is for boogers.
5. Ride Charleston /159 at least once without a headwind in each direction.
6. Mow the insides of my water bottles.
7. Limit the number of members with no sense of humor whom I piss off to no more than 18. (Per month.)
8. Enter a race. Even if it's just the human race.
9. Read the manual for at least one of my cyclocomputers.
10. Reset the clocks on said cyclocomputers in the same season as the time changed.
11. Attach cleats to my fuzzy slippers, so even if I forget my shoes I can still do the ride.
12. Reimburse most of the people who sprang for a drink, energy bar or apres-ride coffee when I "forgot" my wallet on a ride.
13. Finally break my bad habit of making resolutions.
14. Wear my HRM to work, so I can measure my true resting heart rate.
15. Acceed to Lisa's pleas to post shorter replies.
